The request pursued an ex parte application taken before Justice Saliu Saidu by the office.
The advice for the Customs, Mr. Bisi Ogunlowo, disclosed to the court that the prohibited medication dispatches were captured among February and September this year by the NCS agents on obligation at the Apapa Wharf, Lagos.
He said the 14 holders of the prohibited medication were deserted by the bootleggers, who fled after being confronted for checks. He included that since the appropriation of the committals, nobody had approached to make a case for the compartments.
Ogunlowo said a pursuit by authorities at the court's vault uncovered that there were no pending claims against the NCS in regard of any of the transfers.
He, hence, asked Justice Saidu to approve the Customs to demolish the prohibited medication transfers compliant with segments 167 and 169 (1), Schedule 3 of the Nigeria Customs Services Management Act Cap. C. 45 of the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
In conceding the supplication, the judge held, "I have tuned in to the accommodation of the direction and additionally experienced the sworn statement in help of the application and the composed location and the joined shows.
"The application is thusly allowed as implored."
