A staff of the College who affirmed the occurrence said one of the policemen that endeavored to save the school staff was shot by the hijackers previously they took the school staff away.
He stated: "There was an assault on Esa-Oke Road at night on Tuesday. Some staff individuals from Osun State College of Technology were stolen and they are as yet being held in the shrub by the hijackers."
As indicated by him, "those captured are Mr Olaleye Olalekan (Bus. Administrator. Office); Adeyeoluwa Bankole (HOD Civil Engineering); Dr Jesuola Ajibola (Director Ventures); Adenreti Chukwu (Secretary to Civil Engineering Department); Olaniyi Emmanuel Temitope (Registry staff part and Rachael Onyinocha Akinboboye, (OSCOTECH Microfinance Bank)".
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye in a phone discussion with Daily Trust affirmed the assault.
The police boss said his men were on the trail of the ruffians and that the entire region had been supported off with the goal that the hijackers would not get away.
CP Adeoye affirmed the passing of one of the College staff and that four others were in hostage.
He additionally affirmed that one of his policemen who was shot by the hijackers had been taken to a healing facility for treatment.
