Chief Ameh, who is a key player in the deal, in an interview with Daily Trust yesterday in Abuja, said the African Democratic Party (ADP) which denied being part of the coalition didn’t sign the 2019 power deal and therefore wouldn’t have pulled out.
“Those making the statement are spineless bootleggers, enemies of democracy and mischief makers who can’t and will not stand for the overall interest of the nation except something that will give them immediate gratification.
“You can’t make a sweeping and misleading statement on issues that your party was not mentioned at all or try to pull out of an agreement which you or your party never signed.
“Whatever happens, history will be fair to the coalition members for the collective driven interest to savage Nigeria and we state emphatically that the right of association is enshrined in our constitution,” he said.
