Corrin Stellakis; The Reigning Miss Multiverse About Being Bullied, Family And More.

My name is Corrin Stellakis. I am a full-time student, business owner and titleholder. I am Christian and my faith is very important to me. I love my family and am a HUGE animal lover. I have a passion for empowering women, and I love coaching women on how to become the best version of themselves....

My mother and my grandmother are my two best friends, Audrey Hepburn is my role model.

I am a hopeless romantic and believe that love is what makes life worth living. I love watching movies, and listening to music is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

I am a fan of nature and the outdoors. I like to stay active and fit, and motivate others to live a healthy lifestyle as well.

Growing up on a horse farm I learned a lot of responsibility from a young age. I am driven and completely dedicated to seeing my dreams become a reality.

I am genuine, opinionated, strong willed, trustworthy, and extremely loyal. I feel very blessed to be living the life I am living. God is good.

How old are you?
I was born August 28, 1997. I am 20 years old.

Where were you born?
I was born in Syracuse NY, but I live in the very small town of Bridgeport NY.

What were/are your parents like?
My parents are both extremely driven individuals. They are independent and strong willed. They are very good at making something out of nothing, and they are very strong in their relationship with the Lord.

My parents are leaders in their community, and they have been a huge blessing in my life, my brother’s life, and to everyone else they meet.

Where did you grow up? Can you describe your childhood?

I grew up in a very small town called Bridgeport on a family owned horse farm. I learned responsibility from a very young age because I had to care for the animals on my farm.

I grew up mucking stalls, cleaning water buckets, and riding horses daily. My mom and I began an after-school horse program called

“A Horse of Course” when I was very young. We had lessons and after school programs for kids for many years, and I absolutely loved giving my love for horses to other young souls.

My family also was involved in the foster care program and we fostered many infants, young children, and teens throughout my life.

I had plenty of brothers and sister growing up, and I loved opening my home to children in need. I learned a lot, and grew a lot as a young woman through that experience.

Do you have any brothers/sisters?

I have two brothers. My older brother is names Christian Stellakis. He is 24. He was an amazing example from me growing up, and he made our family very proud.

He graduated High school with honors and was the valedictorian of his class.

He went on to get a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a double minor in Government and Spanish from Hamilton College.

He now works in our nation’s capital (Washington D.C.). My little brother, Colton, is 18 years old. He is in his senior year of High school and plays basketball.

I try to make as many games as I can, and I love to watch him play, and cheer him on.

He is the most charismatic, giving, and fun loving out of the three of us, and our family would never be complete without him.

Where did you go to school?

I graduated from Chittenango High School in 2015, and I am now a junior at Liberty University online. I am pursuing a degree in communication and psychology.

What are your top three memories from your childhood?
Riding my horse Precious, going on camping trips with my family, and rescuing and raising baby birds!

What is your most vivid memory from high school?

My most vivid memory from high school would definitely be playing on the volleyball court with my team.

We put our all into the game. Our coach kicked our butts every practice and made us a great team.

We won together and we lost together, but no matter what the outcome was of the game I always felt like we were winners because of the character we showed on the court. We left blood, sweat, and tears on that court.

I will always remember my team, my coach, how it felt to be on the court, and I will carry the lessons of the game with me for the rest of my life.

What was the most important thing that you learned in school?

The most important lesson I learned in school would be: The more you put effort into something, the more you get out of it.

If you want a good grade on that test, then you better study hard. If you want to win that game, then you put your all into practice.

If you want to ace that speech, you better research, rehearse, and repeat. Life is what you make of it, and you only get one shot, so you better make it a good one.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up, and why?
When I was younger I wanted to be a world-famous horse trainer. I loved the animal, I loved the sport, and working with horses always made me happy.

Did you ever break any bones when you were younger?

The only time I ever broke a bone was when I was 9 years old.

My hand was crushed under a boulder and I broke my middle and ring finger on my right hand.

Was there anything that you had to overcome as a child or teen?

Bullying. I was bullied in high school and on social media. I overcame this with finding my identity in Christ as a daughter of the King, and with my strong family support system.

Pageantry also helped me get through this by empowering me, and giving me a positive self-image.

What sort of travels have you had? In the US? Around the world?

I have traveled quite a bit since 2014 when I won my first title. I have traveled all around the US, I went to the Bahamas for Teen USA, I have visited Nicaragua for a mission’s trip, the Philippines for Miss Earth, the Dominican Republic for Miss Multiverse.

Were these travels for your job or for pleasure? Can you describe a few of them?
These travels are for both a job and for pleasure. Nicaragua was my favorite trip of all because I was able to bring a smile to the faces of less fortunate children.

I went there hoping to touch their hearts, and the children in Nicaragua at World Mission Outreach headquarters ended up filling my heart with so much love. I’m so blessed to have had that opportunity.

Where is your favorite place to be? What is the most interesting place that you have ever been?

My favorite place to be is probably home with my family. There is no place like home! I love to travel, but it is always so nice to get back to my roots,

and the house that built me. The most interesting place I have ever been was the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It is unbelievably beautiful there.

Where would you like to go back to? Where would you still like to visit?

I would love to go back to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I would like to visit Africa and go on an Africa Safari!

What is the most interesting animal/piece of artwork/landmark that you have ever seen?

I still believe horses are the most interesting animals. The Grand Canyon is my favorite landmark. It is breathtaking.

Was there a person in your career who really made a difference to you? How so?

Don Baker really made a difference to me. He was such an intelligent man, and he taught me a lot about public speaking, communication, and interview techniques.

His genuine love and interest in his own work, and his desire to see me succeed in mine really inspired me. I am so blessed to have learned so much from him.

Who are your heroes?

The men and women who risk their lives everyday defending our country are my heroes.

My thoughts and prayers are always with them, and I truly appreciate what they do. We are the land of the free because of the brave. I truly believe that.

What is your favourite memory from childhood?

My favorite memory would definitely be my 8th birthday. I went out to the barn like I did every morning, and there was the horse I had wanted in a stall that was all decorated with birthday wrapping paper.

The horse had a big ribbon around her neck. That horse was the best birthday present ever, and was my best friend for the next 10 years of my life.

Did you go to college? Where? Why? What major did you choose to study, and why?

I am currently a junior at Liberty University Online. I am studying communication and psychology.

I chose Liberty because it is a Christian college, and they had the perfect major for me, plus the online option really fit my lifestyle.

I chose communication and psychology because they are both very interesting majors. I love communicating with people and being able to understand the minds of people.

There are so many different career fields that fit these majors. The possibilities are endless.

Can you tell me about your career? What sort of jobs have you had? What sort of job do you have now? What was the most difficult job that you have ever done?
I am a business owner.

I own Fit to Reign and I serve as a self-development coach. I am a personal trainer, and pageant coach as well.

I teach women from all over the country how to become fit physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I love seeing others develop and change in a positive way, and I enjoy empowering women to reach their goals and achieve their dreams. I was a horseback riding instructor in the past, and I absolutely loved that job as well.

What would be one positive thing that your last boss would say about you?
They would say that I am an extremely organized and determined person.

What would be your ideal working situation, if you could choose anything?

I am working in my ideal working situation right now. I absolutely love being my own boss, setting my own hours, and building my own business.

It fits my personality very well, and it allows me to express myself, and work in the field that interests me the most.

I would someday love to travel the country speaking to women and empowering them to become the best version of themselves and see the beauty that God created them with.

You won the title of Miss Multiverse, can you tell me more about this? How did you win and what does it stand for?

Which other contests did you participate in or win?

I competed for 3 weeks in the Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana. I represented America, and I was one of 22 contestants from all around the world that traveled to DR to compete.

We had various physical, mental, social and psychological challenges thought the 3 weeks we were competing.

Miss Multiverse aims to showcase the various aspects of a woman, and highlight all the different capabilities of a woman.

It is an achievement beyond beauty! I won this by scoring high in all of the areas of competition.

It is a very fair competition that is completely based on scores, and the winner of Miss Multiverse is chosen by having the ultimate highest score in the end of the competition.

I have held the titles of Miss New York Teen USA 2014, Miss Missouri World 2015, Miss New York Earth United States 2016, Miss Earth United States 2016, Miss Earth Fire 2016, Miss Multiverse America 2017 and Miss Multiverse 2017

What has been the happiest time in your life so far, and why?
I would say that I am currently living in the happiest time period in my life.

I love my family, I love my career, I am very happy to be Miss Multiverse and I am excited to see where I go with this organization.

God is so good to me, and I feel so blessed to be living the life that I am living right now.

My childhood was also a very happy time period in my life. Back then the whole family was always together, and I lived out every little girls dream by spending time with horses.

Have you ever had any pets? If so, can you describe them?

I have had pets my whole life.

I have had 3 dogs in my life time. My first dog was named coy and she was my family’s protector.

She was a great childhood dog. My next dog my family had for 11 years and her name was Cayenne. She was an Australian Shepard, and she was our little athlete.

I currently have an Australian Shepard named Cajun. He is one of my best friends, and I absolutely adore him.

He snuggles with me all the time, and follows me around everywhere. I also have had cats my whole life.

Currently I have a black cat whom I rescued and named Sharpie. He is also a cuddle bug, and he sleeps with me every night.

Sharpie and Cajun get along very well. They are “my boys.” Growing up I always had horses.

My favorite horse in the world was the horse I received for my 8th birthday. She was an appaloosa mare with a big personality.

She was my absolute best friend for ten years of my life. We had to put her down due to stage 4 cancer when I was 18.

She was the best horse a girl could ask for, and I trusted her and loved her so much. I currently have 3 other horses and 3 ponies at my barn.

My trail horse is named Sonnet and she is a tender soul. Very gentle and loving. My jumper is named Blue, and he is the biggest character of all.

He is like a dog. He loves attention, and is in your pocket all the time. He is a keeper.

What accomplishment are you the proudest of in your life so far?

I am most proud of opening up my own business at the age of 19. It was a big step in my life, and I am so blessed to have the support system that I have.

What is your personal mission statement, goal, or outlook on life?

My life motto is “live in such a way that if anyone were to say anything bad about you no-one would believe it.” I want to use my life to be of service to others.

I love to help others change and grow in a positive way. I want to leave a big impact on this world, and leave a piece of my heart with everyone I meet along this journey called life.

I love the Audrey Hepburn quote:
”For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
