The FCT Police Command have arrested Maryam Sanda over the
alleged murder of her husband, Bilyamin Muhammed Bello, said to be son
of former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, national chairman, Bilyamin
Bello.....
The command’s spokesman, Anjuguri Manzah, who confirmed the
development on Monday in Abuja, said immediately Maitama Police
Division received the information about the death, it went to the scene
and arrested the suspect.
He explained that the FCT command had since taken over the case from Maitama Division, and that the suspect was in its custody.
Manzah said investigation was ongoing, and that the case would be charged to court and “justice will take its course”
Maryam stabbed Bilyamin three times in the back and
severally on his private parts in the early hours of Sunday, at their
residence in Pension Estate, Pakali Close, Wuse 2, Abuja.
She drove the deceased to Maitama hospital where he was
confirmed dead. The couple got married in 2015 and has an
eight-month-old daughter.
