A domestic violence victim has been able to break free from her
abuser and she's sharing her story alongside a photo showing how much
she's changed since her days of being battered.......Mercy Makinde shared a side by side photo of her battered face in 2006 and another of her glowing in 2016. She went on to reveal that the trauma that comes from domestic violence could take years and it took her 10 years to heal.
