attended a minute's silence at London Bridge. Nicola Smith, 24, was comforted by her sister as she paid tribute to James McMullan, 32, who was named by his family as one of the seven murdered by the three terrorists. Miss Smith joined scores of Londoners who gathered around a mound of flowers left at a makeshift memorial, opposite the Barrowboy and Banker pub where the rental van mowed down pedestrians on London Bridge. One sign in the floral tributes simply stated 'Terrorism has no religion' while another read 'Shaken but strong...and so so sorry that this happened in my city, my home - a Londoner.' Flags on official buildings were flown at half-mast and London mayor Sadiq Khan visited the headquarters of the London Ambulance Service to mark the moment.
