Every day POST announced yesterday that Ogun FRSC Route Commander, Florence Okpe, revealed that FRSC authorities around the Mowe hub of the expressway were ambushed by a driver of a Toyota Corolla vehicle with number plate, KTU 828 CF.
On Tuesday, Okpe revealed to DAILY POST that "constant pursuit from the National Vehicle Identification Scheme followed the driver, who was approached telephone to answer to the closest FRSC Command."
As indicated by Okpe, the driver announced himself to the Nigeria Police Command in Mowe and the DPO Mowe gave him over to the FRSC.
It was found out that the missing extra feel burnt out on the FRSC watch vehicle was found in the driver's vehicle.
"After carrying the captured driver's vehicle to the FRSC Command premises in Mowe, the extra feel burnt out on the FRSC watch vehicle revealed missing after that Sunday occurrence was found in the driver's vehicle.
"He is being charged to court for attack, robbery, and wounds to FRSC agents while playing out their legal obligations," Okpe clarified.
