Nigeria's CJN, Tanko Muhammad Denies Demanding Millions From Shehu Sani To Influence Case

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, on Sunday, denied joins with a previous congressperson speaking to Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, who is being researched by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for supposed blackmail, as indicated by a report by PUNCH.

The complainant, Alhaji Sani Dauda, who announced Sani to the EFCC had guaranteed that the previous congressperson requested N4m from him to provide for the CJN and four different judges to impact some pending cases in court.

Be that as it may, the CJN, through an announcement by the Supreme Court's Director, Press, and Information, Dr. Festus Akande, portrayed the case as an unmitigated untruth.

The announcement titled, 'Congressperson Shehu Sani isn't known to the CJN,' read to a limited extent, "Equity Tanko Muhammad has never, in all his years, seen or had any type of experience or cooperation, either legitimately or remotely with Shehu Sani, not to mention giving him affirmations of what isn't just unscrupulous however similarly abominable and undignified, without a doubt.

"Leave it alone realized that if the announcement credited to Shehu Sani was really made by him, it is just a barefaced untruth, an illusion of his creative mind and a coordinated deception improperly composed to defame, spread and pretentiously discolor the great picture and notoriety of the CJN with the end goal of increasing money related prize."
