The bomb exploded at approximately 5 p.m. nearby time (1600 GMT) on a jam-packed scaffold in the market town of Gamboru that leads into neighboring Cameroon.
Observers in the market town said in excess of 35 harmed individuals were taken to the neighborhood clinic following the assault.
"It is an awful day for us to observe this disappointing and decimating episode in our locale," observer Modu Ali Said told Reuters.
"I simply heard a noisy sound of blasts, before I understood I saw a large number of our companions and associates were slaughtered," Said included.

No gathering promptly assumed liability. Both Boko Haram and the local branch of Islamic State, known as ISWAP, are dynamic in the territory.
