Chloe Davison, who needed to be a carer, was discovered dead at her family home in County Durham on December 20.
Her shattered mum, Clair, 44, said her little girl battled with social uneasiness and nailed the fault to online networking.
She told the Newcastle Chronicle: "I accuse web-based life a great deal for what has occurred. The effect it has, particularly on more youthful individuals, can be annihilating. Internet-based life assumed control over Chloe's life - regardless of whether that be Snapchat or Facebook.
"She battled socially from being at school so she didn't work. Online networking was her method for traversing the day. She didn't go out a great deal.
"More youthful individuals need more assistance and instruction via web-based networking media.
"There are such a large number of individuals out there who can say what they like since it's not vis-Ã -vis."
She included: "Others didn't perceive what we saw. Chloe was the joker, bubbly and funny. She was the life and soul of the gathering.
"Chloe was wonderful, yet she didn't see that. She thought such a great amount about how individuals saw her. She would post an image via web-based networking media and need all her family to like it. In the event that it wasn't adequate she'd evacuate it."
Clair, a Post Office laborer, said the family didn't observe Christmas and don't figure they will until the end of time.
She said her "reality has been totally broken".
Clair had been out with her mum and buddies the evening of her little girl's passing.
Reviewing the overwhelming minute she learned of Chloe's passing, she stated: "I don't go out regularly and this was made arrangements for months. I was in a bar when a bouncer got me and the police mentioned to me what had occurred.
"I'd left her at 9pm and she ended her very own life at around 11.30pm at home. It is every one of them a haze to me now. We were so close, she was my child."
