The capture was a piece of the continuous "Exercise Atilogwu Udo 1''.
Col. Aliyu Yusuf, the Deputy Director, Public Relations of 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, unveiled this in an announcement made accessible to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Tuesday.
Yusuf said that a sum of nine youngsters, including four young ladies and five young men matured somewhere in the range of two and 13 years, were recuperated from the presumed kid dealer.
He gave the name of the youngster dealer as Mrs. Rebecca Nwachi, 40.
"At around 6 a.m. on Jan. 2, 20202; troops of Sector 5 of Exercise Atilogwu Udo 1 conveyed at Orba Check-point in Udenu gathering zone of Enugu State (inside Nsukka general zone) blocked above-named lady with nine kids.
"The dealer was captured in a sumptuous transport with enrollment number ANAMBRA NEN 429 ZD having a place with FG Onyenwe Company.
"The lady guaranteed she was taking the youngsters from a halfway house in Jos, Plateau State to another shelter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
"The lady delivered a written by hand archive marked by a minister, demonstrating a rundown of the names of the kids, as an official record to encourage the transportation of the youngsters.
"In any case, during the starter examination, a relative of one of the youngsters who was reached uncovered that the family didn't know about how one of the people in question, named Joshua got to Nsukka.
"This was supported by different contacts that were grateful to Sector 5 armed force troops for catching the unlawful dealing,'' he said.
The military representative said that the kids, who were crying of craving and guaranteed they had not eaten since yesterday, were therefore nourished by troops with nourishment.
"The presumed dealer and the kids have been given over to Enugu State Police Command's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for additional examination before giving over to NAPTIP, for vital activity,'' he included.
