Ogbuoji was declared the winner of the keenly contested election by the Chairman of the APC Ebonyi governorship Election Committee, Sen. Domingo Obande, in Abakaliki.
He polled a complete of 785 votes, whereas his nighest rival, Prof. Benard ODO, the immediate past Secretary to the regime polled 519 votes.
Dr. Edward Nkwegu scored 395 votes to put third; Chief Austine Edeeze secured 116 votes; man Ogbonnaya Obasi 182 votes; Dr. Paul Okorie polled 107 votes and subunit. Emmanuel Agboti scored 75 votes.
Others are Chief Kelechi Chima WHO scored seventy votes and man Christian Chukwu WHO polled seven votes.
Obande whereas declaring the results counseled the aspirants for a show of maturity before, throughout and when the election.
He aforementioned that the peaceful and sure-fire conduct of the first election was a signal that APC was able to take over the Ebonyi seat of power in 2019.
He said: “I need to impart the aspirants for demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship; I need to confess that once we were coming back, we tend to were told that Ebonyi is incredibly volatile.
