Edo State Declares 3-days Mourning Over Death Of Ex-minister, Tony Anenih

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on Tuesday pronounced a three-day grieving period to pay tribute to late senior statesman, Tony Anenih. 


Mr Obaseki declared the grieving time frame after his visit to the family home of the late political symbol in Abuja. 

The grieving time frame, as indicated by the representative, is powerful from October 31 till November 2. 

Mr Anenih, who resigned as a Commissioner of Police ln 1975, passed on at a private healing facility in Abuja on Sunday. He was 85. 

The representative, who had communicated profound trouble over the death of the previous Minister of Works and Housing and the Iyasele of Esan arrive, said the grieving time frame was a sign of respect for Anenih.
