Ruba declared his choice amid a question and answer session in Dutse on Wednesday.
"You may review that I have been an individual from the PDP from its arrangement to date, and I stayed in the gathering after we lost a decision in 2015.
''What's more, I've submitted my time and life to the advancement of the gathering and security of its individuals.
''I trust that children can avow with regards to the degree of my pledge to the gathering and its individuals.
"In any case, because of individual reasons and the direct of the other party individuals to my supporters inside the gathering, I understood that my political dreams can't be acknowledged in the gathering (PDP).
"For this reasons, I have no choice than to leave the PDP while the gathering is obliged to me, I along these lines, formally offer my abdication from the Party.
"As I surrendered my enrollment from the gathering, I wish to formally thank the gathering and its different individuals for profiting me the stage whereupon I filled in as the Attorney General of the state from 2011 to 2015.
"I thus ask for every one of my supporters over the state to go with the same pattern by leaving the PDP.
"Today, I and more than 10,000 of my supporters have concurred and made plans to join the APC,'' he said.
