As indicated by a report by PUNCH Metro, Mbadugha, who enlisted the gatekeepers from Strongcity Security Services, was supposedly assaulted while working at his office on Johnvic Igbanogo Street, in the Lekki Phase 1 territory of Lagos State.
In an announcement discharged on Monday, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said the order activated agents to protect Mbadugha and capture the suspects.
He included that the suspects, amid cross-examination, said they schemed with others everywhere to burglarize the injured individual for not paying their pay rates as and when due.
Oti stated, "The order had on Saturday, October 13, 2018, around 5.30pm, got data from a tenable source that a few crooks held one Joseph Mbadugha prisoner in his office at JohnVic Igbanogo Street, Lekki Phase One, Lagos, and that the equipped men wore Strongcity Security Services uniform.
"In light of the data, agents from the Maroko Police Station and F-SARS Ikeja, mutually assembled to the scene. On locating the agents, the punks kept running in various ways to abstain from being captured. In any case, one of them, who gave his name as Isaac Edet, was caught at the scene.
"After cross-examination, he drove investigators to capture his shrewd accomplice, one Kingsley Asuquo. Curiously, the two suspects are laborers of Strongcity Security Services. They asserted that the injured individual did not pay their pay rates as and when due, henceforth they arranged with others everywhere to loot and even murder him if vital.
"They prevailing with regards to confiscating the casualty of a sack containing a workstation, a money aggregate of N40,000, three check booklets, one iPhone 6. Every one of these things were recouped from the suspects over the span of examination."
Oti said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, had coordinated the leader of the order's insight unit to angle out the escaping individuals from the group.
