Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has formally announced to keep running for Orlu zone senatorial seat in front of 2019 general race.
The APC chieftain made the statement at the end of the week while reacting to the call by Orlu Zone Political Leaders who visited him at the Government House, Owerri, who encouraged him to challenge for the position.
As per a press articulation by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo,
Governor Okorocha who had flaunted that he didn't require any battle or blurb to win the decision, would challenge the situation on the stage of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
The announcement read; "It is fascinating to educate all people of altruism particularly Imo individuals and Orlu Zone individuals specifically that the legislative leader of the State,
Owelle Rochas Okorocha has formally reported his goal to challenge the 2019 decision for Orlu Zone Senatorial Seat.
"The representative, who had a couple of months back given the indication that he may challenge the 2019 decision to go to the Senate for Orlu zone said he will challenge the race on the stage of All Progressives Congress (APC).
"Since he made the open announcement to keep running for the Senate, there has been abnormal state fervor over the State and in addition in Orlu Zone since tit for tat.
"He expressed gratitude toward individuals of the state and Orlu his zone for cherishing him and valuing all he has improved the situation the state as their representative, in spite of feedback from the resistance in the state.
"The senator said he would depend on the example of overcoming the adversity of the free training program in the state and in excess of one thousand irrefutable tasks
amazingly as representative to win his race to go to the Senate, including that he required no crusade publications."
On why they induced Okorocha to look for the position, Dr. Steve Orji, who drove the Orlu zone, political pioneers, said
that taking a gander at the senator's grand accomplishments in the express, the pioneers have no other choice than to approach him to keep running for the Senate to speak to the zone.
