FG Seeks Loan From Japan


The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Transportation, has asked Japan to follow in the strides of their Chinese partner, and accomplice Nigeria on concessioning credits. 


Rotimi Amaechi, Minister of Transport, expressed this when he marked a Memorandum of Understanding with Japan to advance foundation speculation and proceeding with the helpful connection between the two nations. 

Expressing that the concessions credit loan cost falls around 1.5 for every penny, he stated: "we will be happy if the Japanese government can come in as the Chinese government has come in". 

Amaechi marked the MoU with Japan's State Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Tsukasa Akimoto at the Federal Ministry of Transportation, Abuja. 

Talking at the occasion, Akimoto, who was joined by Japan's Ambassador to Nigeria, Yutaka Kikuta, stated:
