The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Maimala Buni, on Tuesday said that President Muhammadu Buhari is the sole hopeful of the gathering for 2019 Presidential race, as per a report by DailyPost.
As indicated by the APC recorder, party individuals intrigued by challenging for the administration were allowed to pick the assignment shape, yet that the National Executive Council (NEC) of the gathering had just embraced the President.
Buni expressed this while handling inquiries from State House reporters, after a gathering under the sponsorship of National Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN),
introduced Expression of Interest, Nomination Form for the 2019 race to the President at the New Banquet Hall Presidential Villa Abuja.
The APC National Secretary flanked by the Director-General of Buhari's Campaign Committee and Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and Chairman Buhari's
Campaign Media Committee, Festus Keyamo, SAN, said the NEC of the gathering had since embraced the President and by expansion, all individuals from the gathering have done as such.
He stated: "Once the National official Committee NEC of the gathering passes a vote of certainty on the President, that President stands acknowledged in light of the fact that the NEC is the most astounding organ of the gathering and it met to take the choice,
where each intrigue was spoken to so the National Executive Committee of the APC has passed a vote of certainty on our President and that implies each APC part has embraced him."
Buni included that Nigeria's case was not extraordinary in light of the fact that a similar situation gets in cutting-edge majority rule governments.
