A Karmo Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, on Friday condemned three ladies to 45 days detainment for battling and gnawing themselves out in the open.
The convicts, Amina Ishaq, 22, Praise Bassey, 29 and Mariam Soliu, 23, all of Paipe Village, Abuja, were summoned on a two-tally charge of irritating open peace and causing hurt.
The judge, Alhaji Inuwa Maiwada, be that as it may, gave the convicts a choice to pay N3,000 fine each.
Maiwada prompted them to live and keep up peace among themselves, saying the discipline would fill in as obstacle to other would-be guilty parties.
The convicts had conceded conferring the offense and encouraged the court to temper equity with kindness.
Prior, the prosecutor, Ifeoma Ukagha, had told the court that after the convicts completed the process of battling and causing hurt on themselves, they went to Karmo Police Station to report the issue on Sept. 12.
Ukagha said that on that same date, the convicts maintained wounds on their bodies through chomps and ripping at.
"Amid police examination, they couldn't give acceptable clarification on what caused the battle," he said.
Ukahga said the offense contradicted the arrangement of Sections 113 and 244 of the Penal Code.
