The couple, who decided to leave the Love Island villa after refusing to recouple with other people, appeared on the ITV breakfast show to talk about their experience on the show.
As Georgia and Sam insisted that they made the right decision in leaving early, GMB hosts Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins then asked if they had made their relationship official yet.
Whilst Georgia giggled nervously, Sam thought it would be the perfect time to pop the question to his belle.
Turning to her, he said: "We’ve been through a lot so I wanted to know if you’d be my girlfriend."
As Kate and Charlotte cheered, Georgia didn't waste any time in accepting Sam's offer.
With their relationship status confirmed, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's best friends were then quizzed about whether they would ever get married.
Responding, Georgia revealed that she could see a long future with Sam.
Georgia's appearance on Good Morning Britain came after she was confronted with the footage of her kiss with Jack Fowler on Love Island: Aftersun.
Having previously blamed the smooch on Jack, Georgia realised that she wasn't entirely innocent.
Addressing the controversial kiss which put her friendship with Laura Anderson under strain, Georgia declared: "That is not the way I remembered it, I swear to God.
"To be honest, I don't really do just a peck, I always do a double whammy so for me it was very, um, yeah it's not how I remember it at all, at all."
