Members from the Plateau State House of Assembly have denounced their speaker, Mr Peter Azi.
Mr Azi was impeached by the lawmakers who chose Joshua Madaki as their new Speaker amid Wednesday's whole in Jos, the state capital, Channels Television reports.
The impeachment took place after a motion on a vote of no confidence moved by the lawmakers, speaking to Barkin Ladi constituency, Mr Peter Gyendeng.
Different lawmakers at the session consistently went the movement through a voice vote, prompting the evacuation of the previous speaker.
Correspondingly, the Majority Leader of the Assembly, Henry Yunkwap, was likewise impeached on similar grounds and supplanted by Nanlong Daniel.
The recently chose speaker speaks to Jos East constituency while the lion's share pioneer is the officials speaking to Mikang.
