Munkaila, who dwells at Dukkuyel Village in Dukku Local Government Area of Gombe State, is confronting a charge of assaulting a minor.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr Babayo Usamatu, remanded the blamed after he confessed to the charge.
Usamatu dismissed the case until Sept. 4.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Bako Shekari, told the court that on June 25 the charged took the young lady to a shrub with the expectation of having sex with her.
Shekari said that the young lady raised an alert, which pulled in neighbors, who kept the denounced from finishing the demonstration.
He said that the offense was in opposition to Section 409 of the Penal Code Law.
Shekari, be that as it may, encouraged the court to dismiss the case to empower the police to finish its examination.
