Yasmine Cooke, 25, has earned the right to represent the Bahamas at the 2017 Miss Universe pageant set for November 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA.
When asked why she would pursue pageantry while studying medicine, Cooke said: “The precision, refinement and dedication… As a medical student and future doctor I can take the lessons learned from pageantry into this professional arena.”
Tiasha Stewart and Azaria Clare, both from Grand Bahama, finished first and second runners-up, respectively
