The menace of crime has eaten deep into the fabrics of our society and poses threats to the socio-economic development of the country. It is pertinent to state here that although crime is a global phenomenon, the vulnerabilities and impact tend to differ depending on the strength of the measures each country put in place to combat the menace.
In addition, most developing countries’ response to mitigate crime is still very low due to inadequate crime legislation, limited technology and lack of security experts. The shortage of human capital in security hence becomes a major vulnerability factor in addressing security needs to combat crime and threats emanating from criminals.
In the light of the above, Globe Chamber of commerce and industry introduces World Bilateral Security Expo.
The event to bring together leading security professionals, experts, telecom companies, policy makers, government, institutions, and stakeholders to brainstorm with a view to proffer solutions to the security challenges that threatens the peace and tranquility of the globe.
