Washington State government appoints a Nigerian, Edirin Okoloko as Judge

Jay Inslee, the Governor of Washington state, has named a Nigerian, Edirin Okoloko, to Snohomish County Superior Court as a judge. 


"Edirin has an unmistakable devotion to the lawful calling and a fruitful history of conveying equity to a portion of our state's most defenseless wrongdoing unfortunate casualties. He will be an incredible expansion to the seat in Snohomish County" Inslee said. 

Okoloko will supplant Judge George Bowden who is resigning. Okoloko, who stowed his Bachelor of Law from the University of Benin in Nigeria and got a law degree from the Seattle University School of Law, has worked for as far back as 13 years in the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, where he is a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney taking a shot at manslaughter, rape, youngster misuse, and senior maltreatment cases. 

He has additionally worked in the workplace's vicious wrongdoing, property wrongdoing, and District Court units, and he speaks to the workplace on the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team which examines episodes of suspected over the top power by cops.
