Man Dies After Jumping Into Lagos lagoon

A yet-to-be-recognized middle-aged man has lost his life subsequent to hopping into the Lagos Lagoon in the early long periods of Tuesday.

 

As per PUNCH Metro, the perished hopped into the tidal pond in the wake of trekking on the Third Mainland Bridge inwards Lagos Island. 

It was discovered that the man was saved by some anglers and authorities of the Lagos State Waterways Authority. 

An individual from the same group, who addressed our journalist on the state of secrecy, said in spite of endeavors by paramedics to revive the person in question, he at the end passed on. He said; 

"The man bounced into the tidal pond around 7.24am. He was saved by some anglers and transported to Ebute Ero by LASWA authorities. Following a few long stretches of attempting to revive him, he, tragically, passed on. 

"The man's character couldn't be found out. He clearly turned to the action out of dissatisfaction. His body was given over to authorities of the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit." 

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said the case was not answered to the police. 

The Public Affairs Officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Mahmud Hassan, said a few authorities of the organization saw the occurrence. 

He prompted individuals against taking their very own lives. 

"Individuals should figure out how to stand up whatever their concern is and they should look for help before it is past the point of no return. At the point when there is life, there is trust," he included.
