The Department of State Services ( DSS), has precluded that five from securing its workforce supported Nnamdi Kanu, pioneer of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to escape from his Umuahia home on Sept. 14, 2017.
Kanu's whereabouts were obscure, until the point that he surfaced in Israel as of late, after the supposed Sept. 14 strike by a consolidated group of the Army, Police and the DSS at his home in Umuahia, Abia.
"The Service wishes to express that the news is phony, naughty and defamatory. It is only a fantasy of the creative energy of the originators," he said.
An announcement by the Public Relations Officer of the administration, Mr. Peter Afunanya, said that the implied report was phony, underhanded and defamatory.
He said that the stock in exchange of Kanu and his teammates, was to hawk gossipy tidbits, tattles and publicity went for subverting the administration, its key offices, and authorities,
He said that the administration knew about some corrupt components excited about misusing the circumstance to establish an aggravation to the opportunity of Nigerians as ensured in the Constitution.
Afunanya said that the components were likewise enthusiastic about upsetting the inevitable 2019 general decisions.
"The DSS won't inertly backup and watch these unwanted components accomplish their aims," he said.
