Cross River Police arrest 2 for vandalising solar equipment

The Cross River Police Command on Monday said it had captured two suspects in Ogoja Local Government Area of the state for vandalizing sun based light gear in the zone.
 

The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hafiz Inuwa, in Calabar said that the suspects were captured by agents of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad on Oct. 11, 2018, through a tip-off. 

Inuwa said that agents from SARS rapidly swung without hesitation and captured the suspects, including that four road light sun oriented batteries were recuperated from the suspects. 

"Upon cross-examination, the presumes admitted to the wrongdoing and endeavors are continuous to capture their collectors. 

"We will charge the suspects to court when the examination is finished,'' he said. 

The magistrate said that the battle against wrongdoing in the state "is a constant exercise''. 

Inuwa said that the direction would not endure any type of illicitness. 

He asked inhabitants of the state to dependable benefit the order with valuable and opportune data that would prompt the capture of suspected culprits in the state.
