Workers Accuse Fayose Of Spending N3b On Chartered Flights

Ekiti State specialists, under the aegis of Enlightened Workers Forum (EWF) and Ekiti Integrity Group (AIG), have blamed Governor Ayodele Fayose for burning through N3 billion on sanctioned flights for political and individual issues.

They said such spending had neither increased the value of administration nor profited the general population since Fayose progressed toward becoming representative around four years back.

They said the representative ought to be arraigned for asserted redirection of state assets into private ventures.

The EWF, in an announcement yesterday by its facilitator, Mike Bamidele, asserted that Fayose burned through

N26million of state finances month to month on contracted flights which he noted: "has dove a major gap in the Ekiti treasury."

The announcement read to some extent: "We are in control of confirmation of how the representative as often as possible

flew individuals from his family and all through the state and to areas, where he puts in the ends of the week and more often than not occasions with his partners.

"For 47 months, the senator was said to have made endless outings and checks at aeronautics contracting organizations

were said to have uncovered an incredible aggregation of flight time logs that keeps running into a month to month normal of N26 million."

In any case, the Commissioner for Information, Lanes Ogunsuyi, expelled the charges, requesting that the informers give prove.

He stated: "The claim is false, does the senator sanction plane to wherever he goes each month? We are sitting tight for their purported confirmation to demonstrate their affirmations."
