A former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Alao Akala, has faulted the decimation of part of Fresh FM structure in Ibadan on a hole in correspondence between administrators of the media outfit and authorities of the Oyo State Government.
Akala said this while reacting to inquiries from columnists in the wake of presenting his demeanor of intrigue and designation shapes at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja on Tuesday.
Authorities of the Oyo State government had devastated a segment of the building lodging Fresh FM, a private radio outfit claimed by an artist, Yinka Ayefele, said to be disparaging of the Oyo State government.
Akala stated, "I think the destruction of the radio station, was only because of a correspondence hole between the administration and the proprietor of the radio station.
"Also, I need to disclose to you that; that has been settled. I need to put it on record and I am not lying, I will disclose to you really.
I possess a radio station (Parrot FM, Ibadan) in Oyo State as well. A comparative letter was composed to the radio station and it was submitted to me.
"When I saw it, I said look, go to the neighborhood level — I am discussing the administration of the radio station and settle your issue.
I think it was only an absence of correspondence and that has been settled."
Reacting to another inquiry on why he is looking to come back to the Oyo State Government House, Akala stated,
"I returned in light of the fact that individuals need me to return and I returned likewise on the grounds that I need our gathering to win Oyo State.
I don't need Oyo State to go to some other gathering and I had said it when I was proclaiming my desire that it is on the grounds that we would prefer not to toy with our odds by any stretch of the imagination."
He said when allowed to come back to the state as the senator, he would expand on the accomplishments of Governor Abiola Ajimobi to give every one of the general population of the express a genuine feeling of having a place.
