Animated Chinese cartoon series Luo Bao Bei has debuted in Australia during the Spring Festival, giving more Chinese culture to the local audience.....

Luo Bao Bei is named after its main character, a spirited 7 year old girl with an active imagination. The show is intended for children between four and seven years old.

As a special program to ring in the "Year of the Dog," the English-dubbed version of the cartoon is airing on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's KIDS Channel at 5 am and 7:30 pm local time.

One episode specially created for the Spring Festival features Chinese elements including lion and dragon dances, as well as a temple fair.

A poster of animated Chinese series Luo Bao Bei ABC's digital platform iView also created Chinese subtitles to cater to the Chinese audience in Australia.

"We appreciate Australia's diversity in culture and language, as more than one fifth of the Australian people speak languages beside English," said Rebecca Heap, broadcast and digital director for ABC.

Debuting in China in November 2017, the cartoon will reportedly begin airing in more foreign countries in the coming year.
