1.Tinubu Heads APC Reconciliation Committee:
President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts in the All Progressives Congress considering the recent crisis that have rocked the party on state and national level and  especially as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) recently cautioned security agencies not to allow themselves to be used by the APC as instruments of persecution against Nigerians perceived to be opposed to the re-election bid of Buhari.

2.  Some Nigerian Leaders lack Knowledge of Economics- Obasanjo:
Olesugun Obasanjo expressed his discontent at the handling of economical structures and procedures in the country. 3.Protest in Edo, Policeman Allegedly Pushed a Motorist to His Death:
There was mayhem in the Edo state Capital when a Motorist who refused to offer a bribe of N100 to  Policeman was pushed to his death leaving behind a wife and two children. The Police fled the seen but later shot an irate protester to death.

in the new schedule,m National and Stetes aseembly elections come first, before the presidential and governorship elections.
5.IBB’s Spokesperson Afegbua To Submit Self To Police Wednesday:
Kazeem Afegbua, Media Aide to Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida will willingly submit himself to the police wednesday 7 2018 as he was declared wanted by the IG of police. This information was revealed through a full statement by Afegbua's lawyer.The statement however clearly indicated that Afegbua had done nothing of the sorts to be declared wanted.
6.My Life Is In Danger; IGP Idris Is Playing Politics With Herdsmen Crisis – Gov Ortom Raises Alarm
The Governor highlighted his lack of confidence in the inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris revealing that his life was in danger and that his reports to the IGP on the matter were yet to be attended to.The Governor also called on the citizens of the state to defend themselves through legal means, while suggesting that the IGP was in liu with the Miyeti Allah group.

7.Ambode vows support for military operations: The Lagos state Governor Commended the erstwhile efforts of the millitary in the state and promised to support and scale up the operations of the Nigerian Army against kidnapping, smuggling, armed robbery, illegal oil bunkering and other security challenges in the State.

9.Benue killings Wike, Ortom visit graveyard of 73 victims:
The Rivers state Governor paid a visit to the state to share their grief and to show solidarity.

10.Herdsmen killings Army launches 44-day operation in Benue, Taraba:
The Exercise is termed Ayem Akpatema and will span Benue, Taraba, Kogi, Nasarawa, Kaduna and Niger states in order to tackle the cases of kidnappings, herdsmen/farmers’ clashes among others.

11.Benue killings: Senate rejects panels pro-IG report, demands Ortoms input:
The Senate President tagged the report  has stepped down a report ‘one-sided’ instructing the panel to meet with Ortom and report back within one week.

12.Apologise to Gov Ortom, Reps order Police IG:
The IGP was asked to apologise for a statement made by the Force Public Relations Officerreferring to the State Governor as a "drowninmg man"

15.Suspended UNIPORT Professor Contemplates Suicide:
The Professor was suspended for allegedly inciting students to protest. Now the professor laments that his deterioating health is due to lack of pay. The university responded that their inability to call him back was due to the ongoing NASU strike.
