The Minister of Labor and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, said this during a Townhall Meeting on Popularization of blue/green neckline occupations among alumni of tertiary organizations in Nigeria, which was held in Benin, Edo State.
An announcement marked by the Deputy Director/Head of Press at the service, Charles Akpan, said the priest, who was spoken to at the occasion by the Director, Special Duties and Projects Department in the service, Martina Nwordu, reminded the adolescents that the wealthiest young people on the planet at present were not government representatives.
The announcement stated, "The pastor additionally encouraged Nigerian young people to put their ability in other occupation parts, as the most extravagant young people of the world, matured somewhere in the range of 21 and 31 years, are not workers of government but rather keen business people who separated themselves in innovative aptitudes in different regions.
"The priest unveiled that the reason for the gathering, which held simultaneously in four other geo-political zones of the organization, was to sharpen delegates of key partners in graduate work on the advantages of blue/green-neckline employments as an elective reaction to the difficulties of graduate joblessness."
The announcement included that the clergyman said the gathering was a piece of the exercises in the Graduate Employability Enhancement Scheme, which was an activity of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Employment on the best way to break the strength of high joblessness rate in the nation.
While asking the jobless alumni, guardians, vocation advocates, understudies of tertiary organizations to grasp the gainful open doors extended by employment opportunities outside government workplaces, Ngige said such open doors had the ability to give high salary, self-respect and regarded self-esteem.
