The accident dispersed a garbage over a rustic region north of Melbourne, as per TheGuardian.
Police said the two twin-engined airplane were each conveying a pilot and a traveler when they smashed around 4,000 feet (1,200) over the town of Mangalore.
Pictures from the accident scene on the ground indicated wound metal and pieces of fuselage dispersed in a field and among trees.
Police said the two planes were flying legitimately in the zone however examinations were progressing.
"We don't know why both airplane were actually on a similar direction or why they were around there however tragically they have impacted mid-air," Police Inspector Peter Koger said.
One airplane had recently taken off from the close by landing strip however the other plane's birthplace was as yet misty, he included.
