Boko Haram Attacks Chibok, Sets Many Houses On Fire

Korongilum, a network in Chibok neighborhood government territory of Borno state has been assaulted by suspected Boko Haram agitators. 


As indicated by data from an inhabitant of the region, the extremists came into the network around 6pm, shooting sporadically and setting numerous houses ablaze. 

"Individuals were simply coming back to their homes from the homestead when the radicals came in," the inhabitant said. 

"They came in through Forfor, and our kin are running for security at this very moment." 

TheCable included that a military source said troops from the Nigerian Army's 28 team unit and 117 legion, both headquartered in Chibok, are now on their approach to Korongilum. 

"Truth be told, the unit and the legion authorities are the ones driving warriors to the assault," the source said.
