Fuel Scarcity As Filling Stations Shut Down Operation In Rivers

Filling stations in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, have started strike over the capture of some tanker drivers and seizure of their vehicles. 


Most of the filling stations were said to have quit administering fuel to drivers and different buyers since 12 PM on Tuesday after another tanker was said to have been seized by the State Task Force on illicit stopping. 

Our reporter, who checked the circumstance in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, saw that Tonnino Filling Station, Jet and Royal Dynasty on Ada George Road were totally closed down. 

Likewise, Eterna filling station situated along Peter Odili Road was additionally closed down.
