Commotion As Dangerous Cultists Invade Police Station To Free Their Member

As indicated by Punch Metro, associated individuals with the Vikings confraternity have purportedly attacked the workplace of the Operation Safe Delta, an arrangement of the Delta State Police Command at Issele-Asagba, the state capital. 


Southern City News assembled that the religion individuals raged the police arrangement over the capture of a part, who they purportedly endeavored to escape from police confinement. 

Sources told our journalist that the cultists were overwhelmed by police officers during the intrusion on Monday night. 

"The suspects raged the OSD order office in four vehicles with more than 15 individuals. Yet, the police overwhelmed them and seven individuals from the faction were captured during the occurrence," the source said. 

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Hafiz Inuwa, on Tuesday, affirmed the capture of the seven suspects, adding that they admitted to being individuals from the Vikings confraternity. 

"They attacked the order of Operation Safe Delta with the plan to protect one of their individuals, however they were gathered together by our agents. Seven of them were captured," Inuwa said. 

The CP said in spite of the admission of the suspects, an Asaba-based human rights extremist, Mr Harrison Gwamnishi, purportedly guaranteed that the suspects were individuals from the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights.
