NIALL Aslam Has Appeared To Take To Twitter For The First Time Since Leaving Love Island.

Niall Aslam was confirmed to have left Love Island on Tuesday afternoon, just hours before the next episode was due to air on ITV2.....

It was revealed that the 23 year old, who became a fan favourite during his short time on the show, had left the villa "for personal reasons" but no further details were given.

Shortly after the official announcement, Niall appeared to break his silence over the shock departure by retweeting a report that confirmed the sad news.

This would mark the first time the star, who was paired with Georgia Steel on the show, had taken to social media since entering the villa last week, however it's not known whether a friend or family member is still running his account for him.

Contestants are unable to access their Twitter or Instagrams while they're on the show, with stars tending to leave their account in the hands of loved ones in their absence.

Meanwhile, Georgia's reaction to Niall leaving has been revealed in a spoiler for the next Love Island.

Georgia is set to speak out on the shock exit in scenes that will air on Tuesday night's episode.

Viewers will see Niall's co-star Alex George announce the news to the villa, with him telling the islanders: "For personal reasons unfortunately he can't continue or come back to the villa."

Reacting to the announcement in the Beach Hut, Georgia then reveals her sadness over Niall's departure.

She says: "Obviously I was coupled up with him so obviously I came closer to him than most people in here but it wasn't just that. He was actually my friend, my buddy."
