Jonny’s character on EastEnders, Paul Coker, was killed off in an explosive storyline two years ago.
He then appeared on the TV show Dance Dance Dance, which sees celebrities pair up with a friend or family member and perform iconic dance routines in front of a panel of judges.
He chose to perform alongside his gorgeous fiance, and the pair were crowned the first-ever Dance Dance Dance champions.
The duo picked up a perfect score of 120 as the judges told them they deserved “all the admiration and recognition” for their talents.
Coronation Street’s Lucy-Jo Hudson and her friend Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton were runners-up with a final score of 117.
Since leaving Albert Square, he has gone on to judge CBBC talent show Taking The Next Step.
The actor currently stars in Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom the Musical as Scott Hastings, alongside Chrissy, who plays Muriel Shunt, and former Strictly Come Dancing star Will Young.
He previously opened up on how he didn’t want to leave Eastenders, saying: “It wasn't my choice, but I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason.
“Like any other job, it's always about the bigger picture and all you can do, is do the part justice.”
