Andy looked visibly upset in a grey suit as he was comforted by friends for the heartbreaking event, which saw a mourner carry Kate’s ashes into the church.
Her brother-in-law, actor David Spade, wore an open-neck black shirt and suit as he greeted mourners into the ceremony.
Other mourners held onto bags created by the popular designer, and reportedly sang a rendition of her favourite song, John Lennon’s Imagine, during the service.
The emotional service came just hours after Kate's father died aged 89, just two weeks after the fashion designer passed away.
Her elderly father, Earl F. Brosnahan Jr, died on Wednesday, the day before Kate’s funeral.

The family revealed how he had been “failing health of late” and was “heartbroken over the recent death of his beloved daughter”.
