Fans Call Out Josh Denzel's Decision To Enter Reality Show Amid FIFA 2018 World Cup When He's A Sports Presenter

Love Island fans have been left baffled as to why sports fanatic journalist Josh Denzel traded in the World Cup for the reality TV show.....
The SPORTBible correspondent plumped for a stab at romance over England Team colours and a pint watching the action live from Russia, with the much-anticipated football tournament beginning on Thursday.

Josh was one of the 2018 series’ late “bombshell” entrants, joining a week in along with Charlie Frederick and Megan Barton Hanson.

He has since coupled up with Georgia Steel yet his decision to step foot in the Spanish villa at all has sparked huge confusion on the day popstar Robbie Williams opened the major sporting event.

One took to Twitter to remark: “Is Josh Denzel mad, going into the villa while the world cup is on?”

A second put: “The fact Josh went into #LoveIsland over heading to the WORLD CUP for work is baaaad. He is NEVER going to live this down. Any argument “You chose love island over the World Cup, end of argument!” as a third continued: “Josh Denzel on #LoveIsland SHOCKING no World Cup then?”

One then bluntly wrote: “That Josh guy needs to get his priorities straight coz now he’s going on Love Island for the summer rather than going to the World Cup with Sportbible #LoveIsland.”

A show fan then rounded off with: “I can't believe Josh Denzel who has gone in Love Island while the world cup will be on, I mean really.”

Josh works as a correspondent and presenter for the channel yet his stint in the series will mean he will miss all World Cup matches, including England’s opener on Monday.

Yet it seems he’s switched up his priorities, with the hunky star setting his sights on a fairytale romance.

Prior to entering the show he said he is "single and ready to mingle," and added: "I think my ex would say I'm fun to be around, bring a lot of energy and good vibes but that I'm not around a huge amount because I travel a lot for work."
