Delayed Announcement Of The 50bn NIMASA Floating Dock

THE Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dakuku Peterside has denied allegations in some quarters that the N50bn Floating Dock is yet to arrive the country, stating that governmental protocol is what is delaying the official announcement of the arrival of the facility.


Addressing newsmen after the conclusion of the 2018 Day Of The Seafarer in Warri, Delta State, the NIMASA boss explained that the N50bn Floating Dock has actually arrived the country.

“In government circles, there are usually procedures for the breaking of such news, and we are just following the procedure.

The Floating Dock has arrived the country, and there is absolutely no concern at all.

I have heard all sorts of stories and reports, and at the appropriate time, we will address the media on this,”  Peterside stated.
