In the snap, mum to Nelly, 3, and Arthur, 1, was all smiles in a tight-fitting white dress by Lavish Alice, teamed with a white hat, gold heels by Prada and a shoulder handbag by Gucci.
And while hundreds of Billie’s fans were left obsessing over her stunning look, others were left concerned the former TOWIE star’s outfit does not fit Royal Ascot rules.
Another tagged their friend in the picture, writing: “Ah man we could of seen her if we went today!! P.s that’s off the shoulder?” to which her friend replied: “I thought that? We are going tomorrow and it’s not allowed…”
So is Billie really breaking Royal Ascot rules?
It’s not clear if Billie’s dress is breaking any rules for Ascot as it’s unknown which area she is spending her day in.
Different areas hold different rules on dress codes for both men and women.
For example, if Billie’s spending her time in the Village Enclosure, her dress would not be appropriate as the guidelines state: “Strapless or sheer strap dresses and tops are not permitted.”
This is the same for the Royal Enclosure and the Queen Anne Enclosure.
In fact, the Windsor Enclosure is the only place that allows looser rules on the dress code.
“It is recommended that ladies wear smart attire with a hat or fascinator and gentlemen wear a jacket, shirt and long trousers.”
