The Imo State Police Command say they have arrested four suspects in connection with a fake kidnap.....
On October 23, operatives of the Command Anti-Kidnapping
Unit acting on information arrested the suspects below in connection
with the fake kidnap of Chisom John Kennedy Igbokwe at Spibat Road
Akwakuma in Owerri North L.G.A.
The suspects made useful statements confessing that they
conspired with Igbokwe to fake the kidnap in order to collect ransom
from his grand-father. Police say the suspects are:
(1) Solomon Chinonso ‘M’ 18yrs of No. 2B Spibat Rd Akwakuma
(2) Nnadi Chijioke ‘M’ 17yrs of No. 3 Spibat Rd Akwakuma
(3) Nwaotu Michael ‘M’ 20yrs of Ogbosisi Umuapeala Mbieri in Mbaitoli L.G.A
And the fake kidnap victim, CHISOM JOHN KENNEDY IGBOKWE
