She's the Dutch supermodel who was seen beaming as she arrived at the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.

But the day appeared to take a turn for Lara Stone, later pictured in a heated discussion as she stood with friends inside VIP marquee, The Birdcage.

The 33-year-old was seen with a scowl on her face as she conversed with people presumed to be her minders.

Lara's brows were furrowed and her hand was raised in the air, in what looked to be a disagreement.
Australia has reached out to the model's management, who declined to comment on the images.

Lara, who was previously married to comedian David Walliams, was later seen sitting on a wooden crate and puffing on a cigarette, as Paris Jackson knelt down to chat with her.

The teenager daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was seen clutching the model's hand.

However, Paris's words of comfort seemed little consolation to Lara, who sat with a forlorn look upon her face.

Earlier in the day, the Dutch stunner was seen sporting a silver headpiece, which she held in her hand as she sat on the crates.

Lara also took off her sky-high heels, and was instead seen wearing a plain pair of cream slides.

She wore the simple footwear as she strolled around Flemington Racecourse still dazzling in her canary yellow Alex Perry frock.

She stated that her visit Down Under will be cut short, so she can get back to her son.

'He's not here. That's why I have to leave tonight to pick him up from school tomorrow,' she explained.

Lara split from David in 2015, with the funnyman citing the model's 'unreasonable behaviour' for the 'quickie divorce', with their case being put through alongside 20 other couples.
