The suspects, Nuhu Jimoh, Ndubisi David, Aderibigbe Oluwaseun and Ogundunmade Kayode were accused of stealing N26.5million and N13.5million from two commercial banks in Ikirun.
They were alleged to have killed nine persons, including two police officers.
The suspects were charged with conspiracy, robbery and murder at a state High Court in Ikirun.
The deceased policemen are Cpls. Oyewo Sunday and Olokede Victor.
A legal aid counsel, Mrs. Oluyemisi Akintajuwa, urged the court to
hear the application for bail of the second and fourth accused persons,
David and Kayode.She claimed Kayode had a mental challenge and asked the court to release him on bail for treatment.
The prosecution team from the Ministry of Justice, led by the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Ajibola Basiru, who appeared with Assistant Chief State Counsel, Biodun Badiora, told Justice Jide Falola that failure of counsel to the first and third accused persons to come to court caused delay in hearing the case.
He adjourned the case till today for ruling on their bail applications and hearing.
