Morgan Cox will have the opportunity to compete at the 2018 Miss Texas Teen USA Pageant later this year. The beauty queen started competing in pageants at age 8 and haven't stopped since.
Recently she has gotten into modeling and is signed with MMG models in New York and LA and The Ross Agency in Fort Worth. She plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in Public Relations and Communications with hopes of becoming a Broadcast Journalist.

Because I started competing so young, I honestly can't imagine the person I would be without pageantry. However, I do know that I would not be near as confident, outgoing, or have half the work ethic I do without pageants. I have learned so much about myself through my years in pageantry and have gained more friendships that I can count. Each time I compete I gain new experience that can be applied to other aspects of life. Pageantry has given me knowledge and tools that I know I will be able to use in my future. I am so grateful for all the doors that have opened and the opportunities I have had due to pageantry.
Honestly I don't think I can pick! I really love the Miss Universe Organization and am so blessed to have held two local titles within it. Recently I was crowned Miss Big Bend Teen USA and will be competing at Miss Texas Teen USA in November. I am so close to my directors and consider them family. I can't wait to see what this title will hold for me!
Last year I had the honor of holding the Miss Texas High School America title and enjoyed that journey so much as well. Promoting the Miss High School America national platform BRAVE (building respect and value for everyone) was so inspiring. I was able to speak to dozens of classrooms about the importance of anti-bullying and was touched each time I saw how big of a difference BRAVE made in a child's life. I was also so honored and had so much fun representing Texas on the Miss High School America stage.
I started to competing at Miss Texas Teen USA at age 14 in 2014. I went back in 2015 and 2016 and never made the top 15. The first two times I was able to accept it, but the third time was a little harder to swallow. I had won the local title of Miss Permian Basin Teen and had much higher hopes because it was my third year back. I felt I had done well but in my heart, I knew that I hadn't given my all. As the top 15 was called and I hadn't made it I was crushed. I thought I was through competing for good, but I believe God had other plans. A few months later the Miss Texas High School America director contacted me about competing. After some serious consideration, I decided to just go for it. I was more myself on that stage than I had ever been before- and it paid off! I feel like competing again was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Going back to Miss Texas Teen USA this November, I am going as a completely different person. I will be nothing short of myself and leave everything I have on that stage!
Did you plan to compete in a pageant like Miss USA ?
Competing at Miss USA is one of my biggest dreams! Since I was a little girl, I have been watching it on television and dreaming about the day I could compete! I even played "pageant" as a child. In fact, I would ask my mom to shine the flashlight on me as I walked around the living room! Hopefully one day it will come true!
Definitely Nia Sanchez! I think she was such an amazing Miss USA and continues to make a difference. I got to meet her once when she judged a pageant I was competing in and was completely star struck! She's the definition of confidently beautiful and I hope to be as inspirational as she is one day!
