Supreme Court Says It Will Not Hear Ihedioha's Application Today, See Why

The Supreme Court won't hear application by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and sacked Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha today. 


The case has now been deferred till March 2. 

The PDP and Ihedioha are, by the application, supplicating the court to, among others, invert its judgment on January 14 this year, which sacked Ihedioha and supplanted him with Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC). 

At the notice of the case on Tuesday, Ihedioha's lead attorney, Kanu Agabi looked for time to empower parties record the vital papers, a solicitation different legal advisors for the situation didn't question. 

A seven-man board of the Supreme Court, drove by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Muhammad, in a short decision, award the solicitation for suspension and deferred till March 2, 2020.
