Supreme Court Sacks APC's Lyon As Governor-elect Of Bayelsa State, Declares PDP Winner

The Supreme Court has invalidated the appointment of Bayelsa State representative choose, David Lyon of the All Progressives Congress and his running mate Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo. 


The court pronounced the Peoples Democratic Party applicant champ of the political race. 

The pinnacle court, in a consistent judgment conveyed by Justice Ejembi Ekwo, requested the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to pull back the Certificate of Return gave to Lyon and a new one gave to the governorship applicant with the most elevated votes cast and wide topographical spread in the governorship political decision hung on November 16, 2020. 

Lyon was sacked for giving a running mate a phony endorsement in the said political race. 

With this judgment just conveyed, the governorship up-and-comer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Diri Duoye with the most elevated legal votes and with wide land spread will inevitably turn into the following legislative leader of Bayelsa
